POSH BABAN was founded by a professional woman, who became inspired after the birth of her first child.  After years of working in the corporate and dot-com world, she knew she had the experience to start her own business, but the real motivation came from her wonderful and supportive husband and his Welsh-speaking parents, who sent beautifully made, hand-knit sweaters and refined baby clothing from Europe.  As more and more mothers asked where they buy the gorgeous baby outfits, it became obvious that there was a real demand for stylish, well-made baby clothing and gifts and that people wanted an alternative to the ordinary items they find at most stores.  Hence, the idea of POSH BABAN was born.  "Baban" is Welsh for "baby".

Founder Laura Russell-Jones also soon discovered people wanted specialized shopping services to complement their busy lifestyles and created the “Personal Shopper" service.  With so many demands these days and with so many products out there to choose from, people appreciate the one-on-one service they get through this service and the advice we are able to provide on selecting a ‘POSH’ gift for their loved ones, friends and clients.  Making the shopping experience both hassle-free and enjoyable is what POSH BABAN is all about.
